In brief
- This page explains how to change your Viaris cookie choice via the footer "Cookie preferences" link, which reopens the consent dialog with per-category toggles.
- Strictly necessary entries are always on; analytics loads only when enabled, and marketing is reserved and currently controls no cookies.
- Your choice is stored only in this browser (localStorage), never synced or sent to a server; clearing site data resets it and brings the banner back.
This page explains how to change the cookie choice you made on Viaris. For the full description of cookie categories see the Cookie Policy.
How to open the preferences
The fastest way to change your choice is the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. It opens the same preferences dialog that the consent banner shows on first visit. From there you can toggle each non-essential category and save.
What each toggle controls
- Strictly necessary — always on. These are the entries needed for the site to load and for the consent flow itself.
- Analytics — when enabled, our analytics provider loads and records aggregated, pseudonymous page-view events. When disabled, the analytics script is not loaded at all.
- Marketing — reserved for future use. Currently controls no cookies, because Viaris runs no advertising or cross-site tracking at this stage.
Where the choice is stored
Your choice is stored locally on this device in localStorage. It is not synced across devices and never leaves your browser. Clearing your browser's site data resets the choice and brings the banner back on the next visit.
If something is not working
If the preferences dialog does not open, the most common cause is a browser extension blocking the script. Disable the extension for this site or use a different browser and try again. If the issue persists, please report it through the Contact page.
