Viaris uses a small set of cookies: strictly necessary ones (consent-choice storage and CDN cookies) load by default, analytics loads only after you accept, and marketing trackers are not used at prelaunch.

Only the analytics provider may set third-party cookies when loaded; no advertising or cross-site tracking runs on Viaris.

This policy explains the small set of cookies and similar browser-storage entries that Viaris uses, and how you control them. It complements the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website asks your browser to store. Some cookies live for a single visit (session cookies); others persist across visits (persistent cookies). The same rules apply to other browser-storage mechanisms such as localStorage, which we use to remember your consent choice on this device.

2. Categories we use

Viaris groups cookies into the same three categories shown on the consent banner:

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to load and for the consent banner itself to work. Always on; you cannot disable them without breaking core functionality. We use:

a localStorage entry that records your cookie choice so we don't re-ask on every page;
short-lived hosting cookies set by our CDN for load balancing and abuse prevention.

Analytics

Loaded only after you click "Accept" or save preferences with analytics enabled. We use a single analytics provider to count aggregated, pseudonymous page-views and understand which guides are useful. We do not link these events to identifiable individuals and we do not share them with advertising networks.

If you decline or withdraw consent, the analytics script is not loaded at all.

Marketing

Reserved category — not currently in use. Viaris is in prelaunch and runs no advertising, no retargeting and no cross-site tracking. The category remains in the consent banner as a placeholder so the structure stays stable when, in the future, an opt-in checkout or affiliate flow is introduced. Until then, this toggle controls no cookies.

3. Managing your choice

The consent banner appears on your first visit. You can accept, decline, or open preferences to pick categories.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer.
Clearing your browser's site data resets your choice; the banner will appear again on the next visit.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies globally. Doing so will not break Viaris's editorial content but the consent banner will reappear.

4. Third-party cookies

The analytics provider may set cookies under its own domain when loaded. Refer to the provider's cookie notice for details. No other third-party scripts run on Viaris pages.

5. Changes

When this policy changes, the Updated at date in the page header reflects the latest revision.
